Description: This co-ed supportive group is intended to connect those who currently serve; those who have served, and even those with an interest in serving in the uniformed services. We share a common bond that we have or will soon take an oath under God to make great sacrifices for others. The Group will meet 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at the Stones Crossing Campus. Leader Info: Will enjoys exercising his mechanical acumen by busting a few knuckles while turning wrenches on anything with wheels or tracks. Chase enjoys teaching e-sports, gaming and spending time with family.

Campus: Franklin Group Type: Supportive Groups Schedule: Tuesday at 7:00 PM Description: This group focuses on finding freedom from hurts, habits and hang ups - Meets at the Franklin Campus every Tuesday. It is open to all and no registration is required! Leader Info: CR is a Christ-centered environment led by a team of individuals who have found freedom from their hurts, habits, and hang ups.

Freedom from Toxic Relationships - Dawn Monroe

Campus: Stones Crossing Group Type: Supportive Groups, Women Schedule: Sunday at 12:30 PM Description: This group is for women that have been in or and are moving forward after a toxic or abusive relationship, something I can relate to based on past experiences. Join me in a group designed for women who need support in their healing journey. Together we will look to the truth that God is with us and will help us to find peace and joy in our lives. Toxic/abusive relationships often result in emotional trauma and for those still experiencing it, often times a feeling of being stuck and alone. You are not alone and healing is possible! Leader Info: Dawn enjoys spending as much time as she can with her adult daughters. She has two small dogs who are her shadow and they can often be found walking in the neighborhood or working in the yard!

Glenn & Delinda LaFara - Back to the Basics

Campus: Franklin Group Type: Co-ed, Supportive Groups Schedule: Wednesday at 6:00 PM Description: Are you a new believer? Have you been a believer for a long time but you want to take your faith more seriously? This group is for you! Back to the Basics is for anyone who is looking to grow in their relationship with God and what it means to be a disciple. You will go through the book Discipleship Essentials. It will walk you through basic through all the basics for your faith. Leader Info: Glenn and Delinda LaFara have been a part of Emmanuel for a long time! They both serve in multiple capacities at church. When they are not serving, they are camping or walking their dog Cuddles!

Grief Share - Banta

Campus: Banta Group Type: Supportive Groups Schedule: Tuesday at 6:30 PM Description: This GriefShare group meets at the Banta campus and focuses on coping with the grieving process. GriefShare is a 13-week video-based group that features some of the nation’s foremost Christian experts on grief as seen from a biblical perspective. The weekly video will be combined with a time of group discussion of the materials that were presented in the video. *The GriefShare workbook is required for this group. The cost is $15 to cover the cost of the workbook, and you'll be able to pay at your first meeting. Leader Info: Sometimes we need the perspective and encouragement of others during life's most challenging circumstances.

Joel Simpson - Divorce Care

Campus: Franklin Group Type: Supportive Groups, Men Schedule: Sunday at 4:00 PM Description: This is a group for men who are walking through divorce or are divorced. They will go through the Divorce Care curriculum together. You will receive a workbook at the first meeting that will cost $20. Leader Info: Joel has 12 year old daughter who loves cheerleading and volleyball. Joel loves cooking, football, going to a shooting range, and playing with his two senior dogs. He can't wait to meet you all!

Lives Affected, Now Connected Cancer Support Group

Campus: Stones Crossing Group Type: Supportive Groups, Women Schedule: Tuesday at 6:00 PM Description: Cancer- not the word anyone ever wants to hear. How do you navigate this? Lives Affected, Now Connected Cancer Support Group offers 12 weeks for people to learn and grow together. Topics include: how to have faith over fear, coping with diagnosis and emotions, managing pain, the "new" you, how to involve your family, and celebrating and moving forward. Leader Info: Natalie enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her four dogs. She is a stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma survivor and is passionate about helping others.

Life with a special needs kiddo is difficult and we may think we have been given more than we can handle; but what happens when we put our faith in God and trust? Together we can build each other up and grow stronger in our faith with God through the struggles and the blessings. Leader Info: Kristin is a marketing consultant for Grivot Strategies, a special needs mom and Co-Founder & Executive Director of Hoosier FWD, a non-profit that was inspired by her son, Gage.

Postpartum Depression Group - Kelly Basham

Campus: Martinsville Group Type: Supportive Groups, Women Schedule: Wednesday at 6:30 PM Description: This support Group is for women who have struggled or are currently struggling with postpartum depression. We will be studying the book "Hard Is Not the Same Thing As Bad" by Abbie Halberstadt. We will explore how our struggles are a necessary part of God's plan for our spiritual growth & how we can discover supernatural peace & purpose even in the deepest trenches of motherhood. Leader Info: Kelly is a Graphic Designer. She enjoys woodworking, hiking, traveling, creating art & photography. Find support & encouragement in a community with other moms, you are not alone.

René Null - Widows

Campus: Franklin Group Type: Supportive Groups, Women Schedule: Sunday at 9:00 AM Description: This group is for widow women of all ages who are at any stage of the grieving process. It is for women to support one another and grow towards Christ with one another. Please note: it is not GriefShare. Leader Info: René Null serves in many capacities at Franklin, but she has a heart for widows as she is one herself. Rene is often seen serving in many capacities in the church and in the community.

Single Mom's Group - Julie Kirkman

Campus: Stones Crossing Group Type: Supportive Groups, Women Schedule: Wednesday at 6:00 PM Description: Single Mom's Group. Leader Julie Kirkman has a heart for single mom's and understands that the joys and challenges for this particular group can be different. Julie invites you as a single mom to come together to encourage, share, and grow together in your relationship with Jesus as you navigate pointing your children to Jesus. This group will be using the sermon content and applying it through the lens of a single mom. While childcare is not provided, there are some options we can explore if that is a barrier for you. Leader Info: Julie understands the struggles of being a single mom, and how important it is for moms to take care of themselves as well as their children. She has served this ministry for more than 10 years!
