This group will be discussing the sermon as well as going through a book study and is a safe place for women to talk through any traumatic events they have been through. This group will meet Monday nights at 6:30pm at Greenwood East. Leader Info: Allie has been married for 5 years to her wonderful husband, Joel and they have two loving chihuahua mix dogs. Allie is an inner geek and has a love for both the Marvel & DC universes.

Description: "Beyond the Oath" is a small group dedicated to veterans and first responders who seek to understand their infinite responsibility to serve Christ. This group offers a space to explore how faith informs their lives beyond their formal commitments, with discussions that connect their past or present service to a deeper spiritual calling. Together, members support one another in pursuing a life of purpose and faithfulness to Christ. We meet at the Stone's Crossing campus on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (6:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.) Childcare not provided Leader Info: Will is a retired Marine, husband and father of four.  Chase is a former US Army soldier, husband and future Dad.  We have several police officers and firefighters joining us, too.

Divorce Care - Andy and Dori Trimmell

Campus: Banta Group Type: Co-ed, Supportive Groups Schedule: Tuesday at 6:30 PM Description: This co-ed divorce care group will encourage and help people form a deeper relationship with Christ and others. It will help individuals move forward in life and focus more on God. *The DivorcCare workbook is required for this group. The cost is $20 to cover the cost of the workbook, and you'll be able to pay at your first group meeting. Leader Info: Andy and Dori understand the grief of separation/divorce. They believe in leaning into God's promises and encourage members to get to know who Christ is and what His capabilities are for their lives.

DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. *The DivorceCare workbook is required for this group. Please bring $20 payment and you will receive the workbook at your first session* Leader Info: Bryan enjoys occasional golf, spending time with family, and helping others.

Grief Share - Co-Ed- Jason

Campus: Stones Crossing Group Type: Co-ed, Supportive Groups, Grief Share Schedule: Tuesday at 6:30 PM Description: This co-ed GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Leader Info: Jason enjoys working out and helping others. He has been attending Emmanuel for 17 years.

Grief Share - Elisabeth Chrisinger and Al Falkmann

Campus: Banta Group Type: Supportive Groups, Grief Share Schedule: Tuesday at 6:30 PM Description: This GriefShare group meets at the Banta campus and focuses on coping with the grieving process. GriefShare is a 13-week video-based group that features some of the nation’s foremost Christian experts on grief as seen from a biblical perspective. The weekly video will be combined with a time of group discussion of the materials that were presented in the video. *The GriefShare workbook is required for this group. The cost is $15 to cover the cost of the workbook, and you'll be able to pay at your first meeting. Leader Info: Sometimes we need the perspective and encouragement of others during life's most challenging circumstances.

Grief Share-Steve Dahlquist

Campus: Seymour Group Type: Supportive Groups, Grief Share Schedule: Monday at 6:30 PM Description: This group meets at the Seymour campus and walks families and individuals through processing grief and healing. The group meets from 6:30-8:00 and $5/child childcare is offered most Mondays. Leader Info: This group is led by Steve Dahlquist. Steve is a hospice chaplain from Seymour who is seasoned in leading grief share groups.

Men's Divorce Care - Scott Matthews

Campus: Greenwood East Group Type: Supportive Groups, Men Schedule: Thursday at 6:30 PM Description: Group for divorced, single men who are processing the hardships that come with divorce. Leader Info: Scott's goal is to help men, who like him, are healing from and working through divorce. He is the father to 3 amazing kids Brayden (16), Ellie (10) and Lucy (7).

Postpartum Depression Group - Kelly Basham

Campus: Martinsville Group Type: Supportive Groups, Women Schedule: Wednesday at 6:30 PM Description: This support group is for women who have struggled or are currently struggling with postpartum depression. In this safe environment we acknowledge the challenges of each journey. Through journaling and group discussion we will find strength, support, and healing, reminding each other of God's grace even in the darkest moments. You are not alone. Leader Info: Kelly is a Graphic Designer. She enjoys woodworking, hiking, traveling, creating art & photography. Find support & encouragement in a community with other moms, you are not alone.

Recovery Support Group - Renee Fishel

Campus: Banta Group Type: Co-ed, Supportive Groups Schedule: Wednesday at 6:30 PM Description: This is a group for anyone who has gone through recovery or who is currently in recovery that wants to connect with others who have similar lived experiences, who want to learn more about the everlasting, all surpassing peace and unconditional love of Jesus Christ. Let's get together and grow in Christ together! "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We meet on Wednesday evenings at the Banta campus. Leader Info: Renee is a social worker that enjoys hanging out with family, playing games, reading, watching Colts.

Single Mom's Group - Julie Kirkman

Campus: Stones Crossing Group Type: Supportive Groups, Women Schedule: Wednesday at 6:30 PM Description: This group will be using the sermon content and applying it through the lens of a single mom. While childcare is not provided, there are some options we can explore if that is a barrier for you. Leader Info: Julie understands the struggles of being a single mom, and how important it is for moms to take care of themselves as well as their children. She has served this ministry for more than 10 years!
